Engineer at work at Acoustex, a company, based in the Coega Industrial Development Zone, which makes sound dampening components for motor cars. A sheet of laminated carpeting material is heated up, then put into a press, which compresses and shapes it to the shape of the floor of the car, into which it will be fitted. Here, Monty Momberg, Plant Manager, shows off the finished articles.
